Do you include them? Absolutely!.

If you file bankruptcy, you have to schedule all your debts and all your assets. Some of your assets will be exempt from the claims of creditors, but they must me identified. Some older tax liabilities may be discharged, but must also be identified.
Reply:No tax liens or any money owed to the Government can only be satisfied if they are paid. Bankruptcy will not help you for those or for education loans.
Reply:Generally no. However some older taxes MAY be includable in bankruptcy in certain cases. If it's debt from the past year or two it won't be included in your BK. Consult with a BK attorney for advice specific to your situation.
