Which teams are going to progress from EURO 2008 Group C, billed as the Group of Death?

The groupings for the European Championship in Switzerland and Austria had already being made and Group C which includes former winners of the tournament and current powerhouses, Netherlands, France and world champions, Italy plus the tricky Romanian seemed to be the toughest group of the tournament and any teams will stand a chance to progress to the quarter-finals! It's a tough group to predict, therefore I need your votes!

Which teams are going to progress from EURO 2008 Group C, billed as the Group of Death?
The Netherlands and Romania.

Reply:We all love surprises but in soccer there are few...especially in the "Group of death". I think italy and france will pass through because of their experience although holland and romania both have fierce squads. after greece won the last one i doubt an underdog would have a chance this time around. france + italy pass through
Reply:Any answer to this question is just a pure opinion b/c any team can beat another time at anytime, anywhere in the world. Netherlands team is not playing well. Italy and France are tough teams but I think Italy is a much better team than France.





I would guess that Italy, and France are going to the next round but beware of the Romanians. Mutu and Deca are leading the team in the right direction and they can beat any team at anytime just as the Netherlands team. Romania defeated them 1-0 in their last match.
Reply:Its going to be france in first and, surprisingly, netherlands in second. Holland is bound to be the shock team, and italy is going to get knocked out. They are unconvincing in group stages in every tornament, and that can't happen in a group like this. they are out. Romania is good, but not as good as the other three. the separation of points will not be much, but enough to put france and holland through.
